The South Dakota Home Builders Association has welcomed a remarkable leader into its Hall of Fame, honoring Todd Boots for his outstanding leadership, deep industry commitment, and nearly 40 years of dedicated service to the home building community. Todd’s journey in the industry began at Lampert Building Centers, where he rose from sales to Assistant Manager, establishing himself early as a professional known for dedication and strong customer relationships. In 2001, he joined CityWide Insulation, taking on the leadership of the Tea, SD branch, a role in which he has served with exceptional professionalism for more than two decades. His hands-on leadership style and unwavering commitment to excellence have earned him the respect of colleagues, partners, and customers alike.
Within the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire and SDHBA, Todd’s influence has been both broad and lasting. He has served in numerous leadership roles, Committee Chair, Board Member, Senior Officer, and 2021 SDHBA President, always bringing insight, steadiness, and a genuine passion for strengthening the industry. Over the years, Todd has been honored with some of the Association’s highest recognitions, including Associate of the Year, Board Member of the Year, and induction into the HBASE Hall of Fame. His Hall of Fame induction at the state level now solidifies his place among South Dakota’s most impactful industry leaders.
Todd’s contributions extend well beyond the workplace and the Association. He has been a dedicated civic leader, serving the community through the Tea City Council, local and county planning boards, and multiple community organizations. Whether in city government, industry leadership, or volunteer roles, Todd has consistently shown up with purpose, humility, and a commitment to doing what is right.
