Repair Affair

We’ve been making homes more accessible for the elderly and those with disabilities since 1993. During the annual one-day event, members of the Builders Association of the Sioux Empire donate their time to complete accessibility-related projects like wheelchair ramp installation, adding grab bars and railings, and more.

Home accessibility repairs are completely free for qualifying homeowners. The program is funded by a grant from the City of Sioux Falls Housing Division, Builders of the Sioux Empire Care Foundation, and Independent Living Choices.

Our upcoming Repair Affair takes place on June 3, 2025. Applications for assistance are due May 5, 2025. Contact our office at (605) 361‑8322 with any questions.
